About Mariza & Co.

After living and traveling extensively in Mexico, Mariza & Company began as a project dedicated to helping artisans reach new markets. From Oaxaca to Michoacan, rural Chiapas to the center of Mexico City, the founders of Mariza & Company spent over three years forging relationships with artists and developing an equitable business plan.

In 2009, the project launched with a series of trunk shows in the Southwestern part of the United States and has been growing ever since.  Our success from the initial trunk shows lead us to develop an online presence and offer our artists’ products not only to a larger community but also in a more transparent manner.

We believe that shopping is a fine art and valuing a product not only for its beauty but also for the story it tells and the artist it represents is equally as important. Today, Mariza & Company continues to work with the original artist and is constantly looking for new partners to join our network. We are 100% focused on the Mexican artisan community and strive to develop sustainable partnerships throughout Mexico.

We hope you enjoy our site and would love to hear from you.
